Privacy policy
Last updated: 29 October 2026
This policy describes how Hookline Publisher ("the app"), operated by the owner of the Hookline channels, handles data. The app is a private publishing tool used only by the Hookline team to manage its own YouTube and Instagram accounts.
What data the app accesses
- YouTube (via YouTube API Services): after we sign in with our own Google account, the app can upload videos, set titles, descriptions and tags, and read basic channel information and statistics for our own channel.
- Instagram (via the Instagram API): after we sign in with our own Instagram professional account, the app can publish Reels and read basic account information.
- Access tokens: the authorization tokens issued by Google and Meta.
How the data is used and stored
The data is used only to publish and schedule our own videos and to show their performance to us. It is stored on our own server in the Netherlands, is not sold, not shared with third parties, and not used for advertising.
YouTube API Services
The app uses YouTube API Services. By using it you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Access can be revoked at any time via the Google security settings page. When access is revoked, or on request, stored tokens and related data are deleted within 30 days.
